Yeah, it's a bit weird, I mean I liked their early stuff, you know before they got that new drummer, but he's, well, you know. Anyway the single's a bit ... yeah ... and what about that wig? You think?

How do I plug this keyboard into the mixer? I mean they've both got holes in them, shouldn't one of them have a plug? And what's that button do? How do I make the lights flash in time with the music? A what? A resonant filter? I thought that was like a horror movie or something?

It has come to the attention of the managers of www.unmoderated.co.uk that in days of yore, prior to the current, glorious age of digital music generation, there flourished a particular type of craftsperson rejoicing in the moniker of "minstrel". These willowy, lonesome types plucked away on their archaic "instruments", often constructions as simple as bits of wood with lengths of cord attached to them and held taut so as to reverberate when plucked, bowed or bashed with small pieces of plastic. Such loners would spend most of their time engaged in such activity; so obsessed were they with their neolithic devices that when not doing so, they'd discuss endlessly the various merits of one such type or other. "Lovely neck", they'd say, or "I prefer humbucking, me". Losers.

So you're proud of your new tune. You've spent ages on the mix, getting the arrangement just so, and you could do with getting a bit of positive, constructive feedback. Just a touch of "It's not really my cup of tea, but I can see how it might work in some markets" here, maybe a smidgin of "I think it's great but it needs just a little bit more oomph" there. You think that maybe posting it up to a forum will help you to acquire the approbation you crave and give you the gumption to take it forward. Well, think again; you won't get any of that **** here. Post it through the Mangle, and we'll tell you what we think. Seriously.

No new posts Bargains! Much cheapness!
Right, we didn't set up this oasis of bliss in a desert of rampant commercialism just so that you pigs could reduce it to a market stall, but seeing as you have already, we might as well dive in head first and give you this, the unmoderated.co.uk "Gear to sell" forum. Usual rules apply - sales and purchases are ****-all to do with us and don't come whining to us if some nobhead rips you off, you really should be able to sort that sort of stuff out for yourself by now. And any jokes about "selling gear' will be snorted at contemptuously.
